We offer riding lessons from 4 years upwards on well schooled horses and ponies. (Current weight limit - fully clothed with boots and hat - 12 stone/76  kg) Please be aware that if you are on the border line of our weight limit when you register with ecpro we will weigh you when you arrive. If you are over our limit, you will not be able to ride and the lesson fee will not be refunded.

We often get asked what clothing a rider should wear for their first lesson.  You should come dressed in jodhpurs/leggings/jogger/jeans and wear gloves with fingers.  Long hair should be tied into a low ponytail, with no hair clips or plaits on top of the head to affect the fit of the hat.  Do not wear jewellery or perfume please.
Hard hats should be supplied by a shop employing a trained hat fitter and conform to BSI PAS015.  Please do not buy online.
Boots or shoes with a small heel should be worn.  Wellies are acceptable provided the sole is not too ridged but please DO NOT wear trainers or shoes with flat soles.
